OK, It's been three days and I miss you!! Who am I going to just walk in on for five minutes and steal an apple and then leave.....

Ok, it's not that your apples taste better (but they did) and it's not that your husband ever really did talk to me (but he always had a really nice thing to say and it was always positive). It wasn't that I didn't silently enjoy that your life was just as messy as mine could be (yes it is ok to have crayons on the floor and cut outs of pictures from magazine that your daughter thinks might be important and talking with friends is WAY more important than cleaning dishes!! Ok... I have lasted three days... (maybe)

I have read my book... the one you gave to me... The one called "IT's Not That Easy Being Green" (funny you would find a book that I would like so easily since June 6th I only dedicated a whole blog to kermit and that subject). When you told me about the fact that you almost bought me that book before knowing about that blog that was when I really knew you knew the real me. So.... This is me saying goodbye to you. Kermit Style!!

First of all. I bow my head to you and ask for forgiveness that my last blog was a bit, well, on the PG 13ish side. But you know.... how I felt about the fat cow... you also know how I feel about music and how it touches the soul and how inside it tears apart at a man/child/woman and how at one point when I heard about it (the song being used) and what was done it tore me apart. To know that a song like that was being used as a joke, a sinful corruptive sickening not laughable joke.

Now, about Susane.... In one word how would I describe you.... Hmmmm
you won't like it - but HEALER - ok I was going to say BANDAID but since I am allergic to Latex I didn't want to cause a problem but basically you always seem to have a solution and you always seem to know how to fix the problem.

So.... three days and I'm still without Apples (ok good ones that are stolen).

In my great little GREEN book you gave me, which I take everywhere (ok you know I'm not going anywhere but my front bench) one of the characters says something that I thought I would share with you and everyone!

I should have listened more closely to you 10 months ago. I sure as HELL (ooops) wish Andrew would have listened to you then, too. I should have listened to you 9 months ago, 8 months ago... and I could go on but you always stood by me and you were always there to catch me and hold my head up high!! You PUNCHED when it was appropriate (he still has the bruises) you loved us as a family we loved you as a family. You are the only person in Misawa that has seen me at my highest and my lowest and you are someone who really KNOWS who she is and I wouldn't change a thing about you.

In the "Jim Henson" book Ray Charles wrote about the song "It's not easy being green" that the song is about knowing who you are. And in it you hear Jim's message most clearly. He believed that people are good and that they want to do their best and that no matter how or why we might be different from anybody else, we should learn to love who we are and be proud of it!!
You are going somewhere where everyone is different!! Go with it!
