Ok, now many of you don't know this about me but my family does know that I have a big, big problem....
I hate... no, that is too harsh of a word... I can't stand... no, again that is not the right word.... I have no LOVE for any kind of tape unless it is QUALITY TAPE. IT HAS TO STICK!!!
Now, why does this come up right now....
Well, I had to look high and low for some quality SCOTCH tape to tape up some FOR SALE signs for my PRAIRIE JOY Car.

Now - I can say I have had hissy fits when using brand X to try and wrap Christmas presents and I can say that I have given up clearly on ever using brand X in my home and have been known to throw a few rolls of them away (yes, money down the drain).
So.... Do I care that 3M got it right and SCOTCH is the only brand that I care to use? NOPE - but if you want to buy me something, I would be just as happy with a good old pack of SCOTCH tape.
You could say it is a sticky subject in my house.... And I now can rest easy knowing those signs on the windows of my car will not fall off in the middle of the night because they are stuck on by my favorite tape.

Well...we all now know what to get you for Christmas and Birthdays... and if there is a Scotch tape shortage we will know who to blame. I can relate with packing tape...can't stand the cheap stuff, don't see any real use for it.

"Quality Scotch Tape"....Hmmm....consider the symbolism of that thought where it applies to family and friends. Can we not look at this and wonder if anyone that we know are that wonderful 3M product or if they are truly a "Brand X"? I have two sisters that I would have SWORE were "Quality Scotch Tape"....they proved me wrong....I myself am a low grade 3M quality with my own mother. But true friendship....true relationship stand the test of time, good and bad issues, tears and happiness. "Quality Scotch Tape" lasts even when applied to that little boy that has nose goobers all over his face.
...I don't know....maybe that's why I spend big money on things that I know will last. I'm always looking for GREAT Quality products...maybe that's why I like you....I see your "Quality"....your "VALUE" to me.
If I look in that bulging drawer you have over there, will I find my name on one of those Quality Scotch Tape rolls? :) I hope so.

CC - You would be the SCOTCH TAPE that is double sided - STICKEY ON BOTH SIDES!! THAT is the TOP of the LINE SCOTCH tape in my box (also if it is the transparent type) nobody knows your there but boy do you have their back!!
