Finally, I have a home, I have a place, a real address and a real street name. YES! It is now ours, we signed on that line!! It isn't the newest, it isn't the most perfect place but it is mine, ours and it is a place I can color and change and even maybe color the door a different color than it is now. Of course, cleaning without my Tokusan a four bed room, three bath house will be fun (not). So many things to do things to buy - wash - dryer (oh my). The fridge is from 1983, OMG!! but still works better than most used in our previous houses on base. So... now the transition from hotel to empty house.... and wait for the furniture and crates. I just can't wait to try out my new bathtub with jaccuzzi-style spray thingy's (whirlpool spa).
Andrew and his Kitchen - who could be more happy!!
We have been greatly blessed!!

If you are like me, you won't want off white walls...no more military white walls...color, color, color everywhere!!!!! CONGRATS!!! on your new house....welcome to the joys of home ownership. No one telling you that you have grass in the cracks of your driveway.... etc, etc.

Jen, Yes - an empty house is better than no house - the kids have a great school and we have already got equity in the house!! it got appraised at 10,000 more by VA than we bought it for!! YEAH!! it is in an investement and a great buy!! You HAVE to come and see it when your down it redneckville ;)
Have the hubby vote for a room if he hasn't yet - and if he did and picked the garage then we will know who it was :)
