My Christmas Tree is Broken - INTERJECTION - OUCH THAT HURTS!!

Ok,

Andrew decided to take the Tree which already had I believe 10 strands of lights on it wrapped so nicely around an eight foot tree. I do this because an old boss of mine taught me how to do it before you set the tree up the first time so as not to have to do it again and again each year. Well Andrew started to take it out of its special box and it was broken and it would not stand up. He did this while I was napping. I would have tried Scotch Tape. I would have tried any 3M product but he said it would not have worked and it was doomed. The tree would not stand alone and Corbin was not up for standing for 30 days while we plugged him in and fed him and he held up the tree. SO....

Arghhhh... I have to go shopping!!

Ok... I can do this.... but what do I buy??

TALL? SKINNY? FAT? GREEN? BLUISH? REAL? (scratch that not real) I now have decisions!! Andrew goes on watch tomorrow (Monday so I have two days to research and figure out WHERE I can really put a TREE in this house (my ceilings are rather high) and what kind of TREE we really NEED!! If it were me I would just pull out my four foot tree that I can place on my ROD IRON table and call it the tree but the kids will not buy it. They want the whole nine yards TREE, LIGHTS, CAMERA and ACTION. So.... INPUT - HELP PLEASE!!
Off to pull the Sunday paper out of the trash....

If only I had known about this before BLACK FRIDAY.... INTERJECTION!!

Can't I just borrow one from a picture and poof instant tree?

Hey girl...just bought one Sun at Target...6.5ft tall...for only ..
$29.95...with lights already on it. Hobby Lobby also has their trees on sale right now...think 40% off...you can go to their website to see their ad....My old tree has a branch of lights that are out...and it's shorter than 6.5 and figured it would be more hassle to fix the branch than get the new one....good luck!!!!

Don't ask for my advice on this one! I wanted a "non-real" tree, but can't talk Steve into it. He says it is sacrilege (sp?). It seems like such a chore to me and the only thing it means to me is watching the kids light up at the ornaments they remember from years past. Other than that, I don't care about the darn tree. Sorry. Don't seem to sound like Scrooge. I just believe that Christmas is way too commercialized.
