I can't go any further without thanking them.....

Ok, I tried to leave without the water works, I tried to quickly get on the plane without having to say goodbye to the most important people that have been my strength through the hardest time in my life. How do you thank them. Well they won't take money, I tried that. They will take a hug and a couple of Monopoly games. I have never in my life met anyone so selfless as the Deveau's (and no, this isn't his write up for Col. since obviously someone out there in the military thinks he is also worth every bit of greatness and full of heart that I think he his. )

You see, They (the Deveau family) took my Corbin from a shy kid and took him in when my husband was gone on tdy or DET and Mrs. Deveau (Susan) and Col Deveau (Paul) let him interact with sports and other things that their kids did. Over the last two years, the Deveaus have been like Corbin's second family and he misses them. He hated missing Brian's Birthday. He hates that he's going to miss the other Soccer games but you know he never would've even considered playing in ANY organized game if it wasn't for YOU guys!!

Mrs. Deveau - Corbin says - "you were one of the nicest and caring people we have ever met sent down from above - you were like an Angel to us. I always felt safe with you" (he really said that)."

Mr. Deveau - Corbin says - " You taught me baseball, you taught me to want to play baseball as a team sport. You didn't teach me to love the Yankees - Red Sox Rule. You also taught me it was ok to have rivals and still be friends in the end. You gave me strength to stand up for myself and not just go along with everyone else. Thank you for making me stronger in who I am as a person."

Brian - Corbin says - "You're the best friend ever. You treated me like a brother, a friend and a punching bag, what more could I ever ask for in a friend. Thank you for always playing games with me even though you were the MONOPOLY CHAMP!!"

Brittany - Corbin say - "You were like a sister to me, thanks for letting me stay around so much!!"

Scootie - Corbin says - "You were a very cool cat, especially when I took care of you and fed you." meow!

So DeVeau Family - as you can see - CORBIN LOVED you guys very much!! I can't tell you how much you meant to me; taking him here and there and feeding him and feeding him and did I mention feeding him. You're the reason he is four inches taller.

Why did I BLOG all this and make this public? - Because sometimes others don't know what small little things that we do for people. You didn't just do a few things for me; you were second mom to Corbin for me and I think only you and I know that.

You went way ahead and stepped up and helped way further than I could have ever asked and funny thing was I mostly didn't even have to ask. And I can't begin to tell of the things you did for other people that only they know about.

I would have never gotten through the last six months without knowing that you had my boy safe in your arms and his tummy filled.

SAY HI TO THE WHOLE GANG AND KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR A BOX IN THE MAIL WITH SOME FUN STUFF IN IT AND SOMETHING SPECIAL. YOU ARE TOP NOTCH AND DESERVE A TOP NOTCH STANDING OVATION!!

Now another rule is you are not suppose to dive in this pool .... but then again it is Wendy's pool

and of course you are not suppose to go
head first down the slide but then it is BUBBA and it is BUBBA - who could say no to BUBBA and he is Wendy's BUBBA!!

Ok, I am in the Big state Right there with the Point sticking straight down (TEXAS) - it is the red one. I tell you this only because I am a little bit bad at geography (I do now know where Kentucky is). In fact, I don't really know all of the states names and the kids love to play games with me all the time. That is why I picked the screwiest map I could find. Well, we are moving to the Green State to the left of the RED big state (Texas) real soon as Andrew should be on the plane hopefully any minute. We will be living in Florida - YEAH! - I think I do know that we will be going through Louisiana and Alabama and that Yellow state (only doing that just to get the husband's goat; I really know it just want him to say Micki - mumble mumble)
Well I have done a little bit of shopping but not much - just a bit overwhelming and I am still trying to take it a bit easy till I am seen by the 'real' Docs and cleared for take off as they say. My friend has a posh place here with a swimming pool so Torrey is in heaven and I am just relaxing and just enjoying the quiet 108 degree weather of north Texas. Nope, no gardening here.
Life seems so fast paced now...
Well on to go study those states... Got to practice for when Corbin gets here tomorrow!!
All I know is it is GREAT TO BE IN THE STATES!!

What is a BLOG I was asked YESTERDAY.... so... I explained you know all those forwards you get well......

I don't forward them.... Partly I don't forward them because I'm one of those people that love reading them and then realize someone else just forwarded them to everyone else I know. I also don't want to bug people with "trash" mail. I want them to open up my real mail because I do send alot of the REAL stuff. SO what is a BLOG? It is my voice but SOMETIMES I get to put those FEEL good messages in and send along a little bit of something I liked that I saw someone send me like I'm doing now. One of My bestest friends (we will call her my protecter and big sister) sent me this. Now I have seen it many different times and different ways but wanted to share it now because today it has a great deal of different and better meaning for me!!


SO gueess what - I AM forwarding it to everyone I know and great things are going to happen - yep - money will fall from the sky and the grass will grow greaner and my kids will behave like perfect Angels!!

Some of you were a friend of mine!! THANK YOU!! so much!! Others those heavy words that tossed and blew me were almost to much. I'm spent all the shadows surrounding me and everything that I have had to go through I feel so alone and I know some of you here in Misawaville you succeeded - I'll miss you when I go - you got to share my darkest hour but some of you remember that you "were a friend of mine" that doesn't mean you would have stayed one if the curtain went back up. Trusting who and what was getting harder lately.

I am only seeing as far as my eyes can see....

I see the real world and the curtain falling before my eyes

and I'm becoming older and wiser!!
