NAVY BALL

Navy Ball! Whoo Hooo it's over! Happy Birthday Navy! I get to wear a dress and have so much fun! YEP

So Andrew and I get all dressed up in our BEST and get to play with the rest of the navy and watch people dance.

Thought I would just share some of the pics with you guys out there. Blogging about it on my myspace but knew some of you guys wouldn't be looking there so sharing the pictures here.

SPORTS and more SPORTS ~ YEP!!

So I go to the FOOTBALL game on Friday night where our team the RED team beats the WHITE team like almost 60 to 12.
It is a slam dunk! I mean a, oh WHATEVER!! Don't make fun of me ok!!

So anyway, who am I sitting next to? Ok, a whole bunch of College kids and a whole bunch of grown ups that have kids that have already graduated. So why are they there? They are there because it is the PLACE TO BE!! HA!!

Cracks me up totally that it is why they are there. It is silly that they feel like they really feel like it is the SHOW of the week. I mean they want to be there because their kids went there but I love that it means so much to them. I forgot what small town FOOTBALL was like.
The stadium was so FULL and it was wonderful! Listening to the BANDS play and the foodball teams out there on the field looking up at us. It was wonderful.
So, all the sports has started. YEP!

It started with the wonderful sunset of Friday and then Saturday the SON had his first Soccer game of the season. Thank goodness there was NO rain. YEAH!!
Hopefully I will be able to make it to most of these things. I have been exausted doing all these wonderful things. HA!!

I am SOOOO not a sports fan (oh did I say that outloud). HA!!
So what SPORTS have Ya'll been up to? Watching any good games on TV? SO I hear College football has been fun. Remember we don't have Cable or the TV hooked up. I hear MICHIGAN haas had a bang up season. he he

DINING OUT! ~ FUN FUN FUN!!!

We had a great time at the CAPT'S Dining out!

BUT why should I tell you about it when PICTURES say so much more!

I bought a wonderful dress and "GREAT SHOES" that were so much more comfortable to wear than I thought they would be.

I already told all my friends back on MYSPACE about it but thought SOME of Ya'll that don't go looking on MYSPACE to often would want to see the pictures here to see how great a time we had.

BOY, I wish we had more of these things. ~ so much fun!

WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO?

Well, I have been doing my pictures and art and stuff.



We have been traveling and having a great visit seeing family and friends.









Please know that we miss all of ya'll that are not hanging out with us LOTS. Well some of ya'll more than others. BUT, as you can see we are still going STRONG and having a ball.

KIDS are getting taller and boy are they getting cuter.

One in High School and the other in 8th grade. OH MY! Wish me luck!

The pathway to....

It has been a while I know...

I went to an old Cemetary on Saturday and it reminded me of several things. One, I need to say goodbye. I need to say goodbye to some things, people and this blog. It was a great path for a while but I found another place to blog where my friends and I could laugh and join together in fun and song and laughter. Myspace is full of me, my family and those that have stuck with me through thick and thin are always welcome to join in! I have enjoyed blogging and have enjoyed sharing myself with others in the good times and the bad. Over the last year I have learned so much about myself and as I walked through the very old Cemetary I saw "life" as I have not seen it before.

The day was a very cold day but yet there was a warmth to this day. The sun was not shining yet there was so much light. I didn't think that the pictures would turn out but look how clear this one is and it was without a flash. WEIRD! I took a picture of a headstone where a little girl is praying and I thought it need to be in color and it just sang to me. The cross was just beautiful against the sky. Why should we be sad in a Cemetary? It is a simple question! Why should we feel like we should be scared and not visit them. Instead we should embrace them and talk about them. Why should we not embrace the past... even our own past. It is the same with history. Why should we not learn from History! Embrace it, good or bad!

I know... your thinking , but there are so many things in my life I don't want to think about or remember but sometimes a simple little girl praying where someone poured their heart out once long ago now is such a beautiful statue of hope! Now, a memory where losing my daughter in a horrific experience of a reaction to Sulfa makes me only remember who GREAT our GOD IS!!

Remember our past and Praise It!!

Remember it so that we can sing songs of joy.... of where we are now... that is why this blog will remain for as long as BLOGGER will let it stay. But I will not Blog here any more as I blog somewhere else... I blog at MYSPACE.
